Volvo #3

Volvo#3 (concept by Bull) is a project that tries to unify poetry and Music together. With headquarters in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico, it�s members are located in different cities, San Antonio, TX and Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico. It all started as recording cover songs in Rew�s room, and then it went into recording improvised music by Rew and rap songs by Bull, all this in a 4-track. In 1996 Rew, The Butt, Roberto Millan, and The Charlatan got together to play in a group called Trance Zomba. But in the summer of 1997, Mr. Meats ,Caco, and The Master Joined the project, one singing, one playing the guitar and the other as auxiliary drummer. Bull joined the project too, he was going to sing, but couldn�t. Through it�s history Volvo #3 has recorded more than 10 original songs, and more than 10 covers to which they added a touch of their own. They also have had help from another local group, Galleta, in which The Master, Caco, And Rew Played in this summer.(they had an income of about 350 dollars, and opened at a concert of a wold wide known band )Then In July Bull organized a concert called Rock Al Caco in which both Volvo #3 and Galleta played. Currently, Volvo #3 plays in organized School Festivals and private parties, but soon will start playing in clubs, and opening concerts. And with Millan Living in turkey, Volvo #3 has a new member, the Blackness.

Music

Even though there is only One original song here from Volvo #3, the rest are demonstrations on how they try to develop their talents. Down Under was recorded in January or February 1997 By Rew. The song came to him after he had had a fight via E-mail with Bull, he Just grabbed his guitar, and recorded it. Then there is a cover from the Beasty Boys song Pow, Rew Decided one day to add lyrics, hence the result, Pilgrim With no 4-tracks and nothing but a pair of headphones and a computer, Bull decided to record this low quality covers on September 1997 while he was in his new home, in San Antonio.This first one is a cover of Puto, from the new hit group in Mexico, Molotov. This second one is a cover of Abarajame from the multi talented Argentinians Illya Kuriaki & The Valderramas
